ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND:
This is a very recent (as in the last week) discussion with both Bill Binney and Thomas Drake and a couple others intimately involved in NSA. They cover NSA programs and the lead up to 9/11 and beyond.
Includes a video of the entire discussion, which runs just short of 2 hours. One of the points made towards the end reveals that the programs the NSA developed in-house were handed over to Israelis BEFORE 9/11, and shortly thereafter those programs were developed into commercial packages and sold back to the NSA for an inflated price.
